It was a festive Halloween at Rose Villa filled with frights and delights! The day started with a staff pumpkin carving contest. The Halloween party attracted a coven of witches that held a captivated audience. The costume contest displayed an array of creative, scary and funny costumes…congratulations to all of the winners! Sweet treats and ghoulishly good company made this year’s party a really great bash!

Team Rose Villa had a great time during the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Portland on Sunday. The team raised nearly $800!

Getting Ready for the Luau

The evening before our annual Luau, Neal and LouAnn Amina (Walt and Pat Garvin’s daughter and son-in-law) with the help of Rose Villa volunteer staff and residents, get the pit ready to cook the pork and turkey for our annual Luau. The Hawaiian name for this is an Imu. An underground oven. The pig and turkeys roast overnight and are dug up the next morning. It is exciting to see this tradition continue!

West Linn Parade

Last weekend Rose Villa took 3rd place in the West Linn Parade! Not even a bit of rain was enough to dampen the spirts! Congratulations to everyone who participated, and everyone who came to wish us well!

Vista Hot Air Balloon Ride

We had a wonderful time on our early morning hot air balloon ride. The weather was perfect and we soared to 1,200 feet. Not a bad way to spend a Friday morning!
